Doe Pay · Coming soon in Nigeria
Money that moves like a message.
Pay the people you chat with, split the bill with your group and buy airtime in seconds. No account numbers, no switching apps.
What you can do
Everything money does, inside your chats.
Send in any chat
Tap Pay, type the amount, enter your PIN. A receipt appears in the conversation for both of you.
Request and split
Ask a friend to pay you back, or split one bill with a whole group. Everyone sees what they owe.
Airtime and electricity
Top up any network and buy your meter token without leaving DOE.
Add money your way
Card, bank transfer or USSD, or send to your wallet’s own account number from any bank.
Who holds your money
Your money sits with a licensed bank. Never with us.
Your wallet is opened and held by a partner bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. DOE is the app you use to move it.
- The partner bank holds your money, opens your account and checks your ID
- DOE never holds your money and never gives loans
- You approve every payment with your PIN, within your daily limit
We will name the partner bank here when Doe Pay opens.
Verify once
Pick your level. Pay within it.
Doe Pay is for people verified with a Nigerian BVN or NIN. It goes by the country of your ID, not your phone number.
The partner bank checks your number with your consent. DOE keeps only a scrambled fingerprint of it, never the number itself.
| Verified with | You can send |
|---|---|
| BVN or NIN | ₦200,000 a day |
| BVN and NIN | ₦5,000,000 a day |
Fees and safety
Clear prices. Careful by default.
Free between DOE users
Sending and receiving money with people on DOE costs nothing. Any other fee is shown before you confirm, and the full list is published here before Doe Pay opens.
Your PIN on every payment
DOE staff will never ask for your PIN or a login code. Anyone who does is not us.
Extra checks for new wallets
New wallets and first payments to someone new start with lower limits, to stop fraud before it starts.
Never charged twice
If the bank is slow, the receipt says “Waiting for the bank” and updates by itself.
A problem with a payment?
Read the answers first, or email us with the receipt. We will never ask for your PIN.
